HEY, ACA-PEOPLE.

Welcome to Yale — and, more importantly, welcome to collegiate a cappella. We’re the Singing Group Council, the hub for all things a cappella at Yale.

WHAT IS RUSH?

Rush is the name of the audition and recruitment process for Yale's a cappella groups. While it shares a name with Greek life rush, the experience is quite different. It is a two-week-long process of auditions, concerts, and meals that culminates in Tap Night, when singers are finally initiated into their new groups.

MEET THE GROUPS

HERE’S THE SCHEDULE.

This calendar includes all major SGC Rush concerts and events, as well as the overall timeline for auditions, callbacks, and Singing Desserts.

Note that group-specific dates, times, and locations are not included, as each group will announce those details later. Don't worry! They will reach out to you personally with all the information about when and where you're needed.

Confused about what these events entail? Visit our Rush tab for everything you need to know!
