Tap Night
The wonderful and mysterious Tap Night! One night a year, all of Yale’s a cappella groups descend onto Old Campus to officially welcome their new members into the groups. A night of rambunctious fun for all.
Callbacks
Aced your audition and want to seal the deal? Completely flopped but looking for a chance at redemption? Groups offer some candidates callbacks to give them more time in the spotlight and evaluate their musical ability. Don’t stress! You’ll do great.
Auditions
First-round auditions will take place starting at 5pm on Thursday 9/5 and ending on Sunday 9/8. Be sure to reach out to each group for information on times, dates, and venues!
Marsh Jam
Stop by Marsh Lecture Hall at 7:30pm to hear each group sing two songs, followed by audition sign-ups once the concert ends! You can meet members of every group and secure an audition with your favorites.
Woolsey Jam
Come to the Schwarzman Center’s Woolsey Hall at 8pm and hear Yale’s 17 a cappella groups sing live! This is a great chance to learn about the performance style of every group and get a taste for what’s to come.
Rush Info Session
Interested in a cappella at Yale but don’t know where to start? Never tried singing before but want to give it a shot? Join us in LC 101 at Linsly-Chittenden Hall on Old Campus to learn all there is to know about Rush! We’ll run you through events, dates, times, and introduce you to our wonderful groups! You can ask any questions you have about the Rush process. We’re excited to see you there!
