Jazz is hot. Need Proof? Look no further than Yale’s premier SSAA jazz and swing a cappella group, Proof of the Pudding.

Proof was founded in 1975, just six years after women were first admitted to Yale. The group travels internationally and domestically each year, with recent performances at Castello Imeriali di Francavilla Fontana in Italy, The Boogie Woogie Jazz Club in Seoul, The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, Sapa Live Jazz Club in Taipei, and Feinstein’s 54 Below in New York City.

From jazz standards like “Lullaby of Birdland” to fresh takes on the genre by artists including Lorde, Laufey, Sara Bareilles, and Lake Street Dive, Proof’s self-arranged repertoire blends timeless jazz with contemporary pop and R&B.
